JAMMU, Jan 1: Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust has decided to construct 10,000 square feet and three storeyed temple at the Yatri Bhawan in Haridwar.
Yatri Bhawan Trust member Pawan Shastri said the temple would be constructed by giving taking only one square feet cost from the donors, which has been fixed at Rs 5100 only.
However, the donors can take three or four square feet on the names of their family members.
“The idea is to involve 10,000 people in the process for construction of grand temple at Jammu Yatri Bhawan,’’ Shastri said, adding the proposal has received wide spread response from the people.
He hoped that the people intending to contribute for one square feet of the temple or more on the name of their family members can do so by contacting the Trust office—either in Jammu or Haridwar.
Shastri said work on construction of the temple would start very soon.
