YC demands jobs for local youths in industries

SAMBA, Aug 29: Youth Congress (YC) of Samba constituency has expressed serious concern on increasing unemployment in the district and demanded jobs for local qualified youths in industries of the District.
Addressing a press conference here today, YC vice-president, Sandeep Sharma regretted that industries situated at SIDCO Complex, Samba have been harassing the local qualified youths by not providing them jobs in industries.
Sharma also expressed grave concern over delay in payment by the management of the industries to local merchants who are burdened with loan from banks to supply the raw material to the industries.
He said not only this, many of the industrialists are importing the raw materials from outside the State due to which the local young merchants are suffering.
The YC president also stressed that all the industries should use pollution control devices including ETP plants of pesticide industries.
