JAMMU, Apr 22: HoD of Electrical Department, YCET, Loveneesh Talwar was invited as a keynote speaker to deliver online expert talk on ‘Role of Energy Managers to Conserve Energy for Future Generation’.
The talk was organized by Department of Electrical, School of Engineering & Technology, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri.
In talk he stated that Conservation of Electric Energy occupies the top grade in the energy hierarchy and finds innumerable uses in home, industry, agriculture and in transport.
He also emphasized on energy audit—an inspection survey and an analysis of energy flows for energy conservation in a building.
“Energy conservation is the effort made to reduce the consumption of energy by using less of an energy service. This can be achieved either by using energy more efficiently or by reducing the amount of service used,” Talwar maintained.
He also shows one of his case studies in which he represented how to conserve energy in the domestic sector by using four energy conservation methods.
