JAMMU, Oct 5: Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) in collaboration with Blood Bank SMGS Hospital, Red Cross and Thalassemia Society organised a blood donation camp.
Faculty members of YCET were among the first to donate blood and after this the students from all departments and semesters followed the suit and vigorously participated in the event donating blood.
Entire Red Cross delegation and Thalassemia Society lauded the enthusiasm of all those donating blood for the greater cause.
Blood donors also thanked the Red Cross Society and SMGS Hospital team led by Dr. Vidushi Gupta for giving them opportunity to play their parts for the society.
K.K Koul, former Head Pathology/Haematology GMC Jammu and Sudhir Sethi, President Thalassemia society and was also present on the occasion.
Earlier, Director YCET Prof. (Dr.) A.K Srivastava; Administrative Secretary, Nidhi Jamwal; Coordinator Student Affairs, Rajnish Magotra and HODs of all departments welcomed the delegates of Red Cross Society.
