YCET organises placement drive

JAMMU, Feb 25: A placement drive was organised by Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET) in which K.K Constructions & Builders along with Tech Mahindra participated.
Placement Cell of YCET played a pivotal role in organizing the event.
Representatives from the participating companies and YCET were involved to properly drive the placement process.
The drive started with pre-placement talk followed by group discussion and ended up with personal interview.
In first round, 32 students were screened while in second round, 14 students were shortlisted out of which 8 students were finally selected.
Aniket Rathore, Umar Fareed Jaral, Aryan Raina and Vinay Kumar Basson were selected from Civil Engineering whereas Vikrant Singh Aithmian, Sakshi Manhas, Komal Kumari and Sarthak Sharma were selected from Computer Science and Engineering.
The Session began with welcome address by Rajnish Magotra, HoD Civil Engineering Department.
Bouquet was presented to Dheeraj Sharma, Head HR KK Construction & Builders.
Speaking on the occasion Sharma highlighted the projects undertaken by the company at various locations.
Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions (JGEI), Jammu Chairman, Vidhi S. Singh Jamwal, Vice Chairman, Th. Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, Managing Director, Renu Bangroo, Director, YCET, Dr. (Prof.) Mukesh Kumar Rana, Dean Academics YCET, Dinesh Gupta and Chief Coordinator, YCET, B.R Verma congratulated the selected students.
Vote of thanks was given by Rajnish Magotra, HoD, Civil Engineering Department.
Sanskar Aggarwal, senior Executive HR, Ajeet Jain Executive HR, Swati Singh Executive HR, Seema Gupta Executive HR and Dinesh Gupta, Dean Academics were also present on the occasion.
