YGI announces 50% concession in tuition fee for J&K students

JAMMU, Mar 17: The students hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and having more than 80% marks in qualifying examination will be given a concession of 50% in tuition fee for B. Tech and polytechnic courses.
This was announced by Yamuna Group of Institutions (YGI), one of the premier centre of excellence in professional education in north India, which was established by Ch Lekh Raj, Educational and Charitable Trust.
The group shot into prominence in 2008 when it established its Yamuna Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Today, the group houses the Yamuna Institute of Dental Sciences and Research (YIDSR), Yamuna Institute of Engineering and Technology (YIET), Yamuna Polytechnic for Engineering (YPE), Yamuna Institute of Nursing (YIN), Yamuna Institute of Education (YIE) and 120 bedded CLR Multispecialty Hospital.
“In order to contribute to the growth and development of our society to the knowledge society, the YGI goes all out to shape its students to good professionals and good human beings by instilling higher order thinking,” YGI Management said.
YGI is housed in about 30 acres of lush green campus on Ambala-Yamunanagar National Highway about 10 km away from the hustle and bustle of the Yamunanagar city.
The campus has 3 boys and one girls hostel catering for about 1500 students on campus. The campus is equipped with all modern facilities including WiFi and houses Shooting, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton and other sports grounds.
YGI contains state of the art infrastructure with more than 1.10 lakh square feet constructed area consisting of modern audio-visual equipment aided lecture halls, well equipped laboratories, seminar halls, tutorial rooms and well-furnished offices. YGI conducts 22 programs in 6 of its institutes.
Yamuna Group is having unit of NCC for the last eight years, many students have been selected for important jobs in Police/Defence services.
