JAMMU, May 21: As part of International Day of Yoga, a month long Yoga camp is being organized by Central University of Jammu, which has been sponsored by Ministry of AYUSH Government of India.
The camp is being organized by the Yoga Centre of CUJ at Galaxy College of Education, Sainik Colony, Jammu. About 100 students residing in different hostels of CUJ, are participating in the yoga camp,
The Yoga activities included warm up exercises, Asanas, Pranya-Yamas and meditation. The Yoga camps was inaugurated today by Prof Ashok Aima, Vice-Chancellor of CUJ, in the presence of Prof Indu Aima, former Director IIPA Jammu, Prof Lokesh Verma, Dr Ravi Kumar, Registrar, Prof N K Tripathi, Dr K C Sharma, Arun Sharma and others,
The inaugural proogramme was conducted by Dr D L Choudhary, Incharge Yoga Centre and S K Jain, Yoga expert.
