JAMMU, Apr 13: To ensure healthy life and well being of all and all the ages, a Yoga camp was organized at Panchayat, Chatha in which all the representatives of PRI’s, general public, school, Students and teachers participated.
At Panchayat Chowadi, Gram Sabha was held for all the PRIs representatives and general public participated. Oath ceremony was held and Panchayat took the sankalp of adapting sustainable development goals with three themes vis, healthy village, clean and green village and child friendly village besides plantation and cleanliness drive was carried out in the Panchayat.
Similarly in Panchayat Satwari in coordination with Social Welfare and Agriculture Department, activities related to women empowerment were carried out as a sustainable development goals on theme viz socially secured village and village with good Governance.
