Yogi leads migrants delegation to RRC

JAMMU, Apr 16: A delegation of All Kashmiri Displaced Youth Forum, Pending Shopkeepers  of camps and relief holders from camp and non camp localities led by NC Minority Cell president, M K Yogi called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, R K Pandita here today and discussed their problems with him.
Mr Yogi, while demanding immediate implementation of PM’s employment package announced in 2008 said that out of 6000 jobs only 1900 youth were appointed till date. He said some youth were interviewed for their appointment as teachers two years back but till date their appointment orders were not issued which is unfortunate.
He made an appeal to Government to issue the appointment orders immediately and urged the RRC to take up the issue with concerned quarters.
He also demanded that the genuine and deserving people be allotted shops at Jagti. The RRC informed the delegation that he has received 350 applications in this regard and he will discuss the same with the higher authorities within three to four days. On the issue of NFSA the RRC assured the delegation that the migrants will get the ration as per the old scale.
Mr Pandita also assured the delegation that he will see why the ration for the month of March was not issued in some zones.
