JAMMU, Aug 9: A young girl was allegedly abducted today in Bishnah area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a 20-year-old girl belonging to Chal Lala (Bishnah) was allegedly abducted today by a youth namely Amit Verma son of Manga Ram, resident of Makhanpur Charkan (Bishnah), when she had gone to study in a coaching institute in Jammu.
He said that on the complaint of the father of the girl, a case FIR No 170/2017 under Section 366 RPC was registered at police station Bishnah and investigations started.
