REASI, Mar 31: A young girl committed suicide by jumping from Rud Pull (bridge) at Dhran, under the jurisdiction of Arnas Police Station.
The girl, identified as Shallu Devi (22), daughter of Romal Singh of Dhran, reportedly died on the spot. Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained.
Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation. Body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary of the hospital for postmortem.
