JAMMU, Aug 20: A young girl today got injured due to electrocution in Janipur area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, the girl identified as Sheetal Padha daughter of Dharm Kant Padha, resident of Bhaderwah (at present old Janipur), sustained about 65 % burn injuries after she came in contact with a live wire on roof top of her house.
In unconscious condition, the girl was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where her condition was stated to be stable till the last reports came in. Janipur police had taken cognizance of the matter.
