KATHUA, Nov 3: A young girl has been kidnapped by a youth from Hiranagar area of Kathua district.
A police spokesman said that Rattan Chand, father of one Pooja Devi (24) has alleged that his daughter had gone to Hiranagar for B Ed exam on October 29. She was kidnnaped by one Deep Singh, son of Joginder Singh of the same area.
Parents of the girl told police that earlier they continued searching for the girl at various places and even at the houses of their relatives but later came to know about her kidnapping. The police registered a case in this connection and started search for the girl.
