RAJOURI, Sept 2: The dead body of 22-year-old girl was recovered from the nearby forest in Samote area of Budhal today.
The deceased has been identified as Sapna Devi, daughter of Kamal Singh, resident of Samote. The girl went missing last evening from her house and family members kept searching for her. A villager noticed the body lying in the forest area and reported the matter to the family and police post, Samote. The police shifted the body for postmortem to Kandi hospital. There were marks of torture and burns clearly visible on the body. The police registered a case under Section 174 CrPC at Budhal Police Station and started investigation.
