UDHAMPUR, Feb 2: A young housewife died of serious burn injuries which she received under mysterious circumstances at the house of her in-law at Amroh in Tehsil Ramnagar.
Reports said that Sushma Devi (24), wife of Vijay Kumar of Amroh received serious burn injuries while cooking food at her house. The family members immediately shifted her to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar where doctors referred her to GMC Jammu in view of her serious condition.
During treatment, she succumbed to her injuries this morning. After completion of all the legal formalities and the postmortem, the body was handed over to the family members. A case has been registered in this connection for further investigation.
