UDHAMPUR, Dec 23: A young housewife was found hanging from a ceiling fan hook under mysterious circumstances at the house of her in-laws at Ward number 5, Udhampur.
The deceased was identified as Reba Devi (23), wife of Mohinder Kumar of village Kasori Bhrmin, Tehsil Ramnagar, presently residing at Ward number 5, Microwave Lane, Udhampur town.
The family members spotted her hanging from ceiling fan hook and shifted her to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared her as brought dead. Later, the Police handed over the dead to family members after completion of post mortem and other legal formalities.
A case under section 174 CrPC has been registered in this connection at Udhampur Police Station for further investigations.
