REASI, July 9: In an apparent case of suicide under mysterious circumstances, a young housewife was found hanging from a tree near the house of her in-law at Sunarian, Ransoo, in Tehsil Pouni, here today.
Reports said that 23-year old Jyoti Devi, wife of Pardeep Singh, resident of Sunarian, Ransoo, was found hanging from a tree under mysterious circumstances.
On being informed, a Police party from Police Station Ransoo rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to PHC Pouni for postmortem and other legal formalities. Inquest proceeding under Section 174 of CrPC has been initiated in this regard by Ransoo Police.
