JAMMU : Young IAS officer of J&K Cadre Shyam Vinod Meena has passed away at New Delhi.
The IAS officer of 2008 batch, Shyam Vinod Meena was presently on deputation to the Central Government as Private Secretary to Minister of State (Water Resources). He had earlier worked in Jammu and Kashmir as SDM Reasi, SDM Doda, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, Deputy Commissioner Ramban and Doda and Additional Secretary, Irrigation and Flood Control Department.
Meanwhile, Governor N N Vohra and Chief Secretary, B R Sharma have expressed grief and sorrow over the tragic sudden passing away of Shyam Vinod Meena. They have conveyed their sympathies to the members of the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
