UDHAMPUR, Sept 11: A young man committed suicide by hanging himself at his house in Ward number 2 of Ramnagar.
According to the police report, Ajit Kumar (35), son of Chuni Lal, resident of ward number two in Ramnagar, was found hanging from a ceiling fan hook in his house under mysterious circumstances.
Family member saw him hanging and immediately called the Police following which SHO Ramnagar Sohan Singh rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar for the postmortem.
Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while a case has been registered in this connection at Police Station Ramnagar for inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC.
