REASI, Oct 27: A young man committed suicide by hanging himself at his house, here today.
The deceased was identified as 27 years old Neeraj Singh alias Guffu, son of Santosh Singh, resident of Reasi. He was found hanging in his house.
As per the information, family members of the deceased saw him hanging and on being informed, Reasi Police shifted the dead body to District Hospital Reasi for post mortem.
After post mortem and other legal formalities, the dead body was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Police have registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
