REASI, June 20: Under mysterious circumstances, a young man died here today after he fell from a hillock and his licensed gun, being carried by the victim, went off causing him fatal bullet injury in remote area of Marpathri, under the jurisdiction of Mahore Police Station.
Accompanied by his brother and brother in-law, the deceased was on way from Dhok in upper reaches at Marpathri when the incident took place.
The deceased was identified as Master Mohd Iqbal (30), son of Abdul Aziz Khan of Malas. He reportedly slipped from the hillock and simultaneously his 12 bore rifle went off. The bullet injured man fell in deep gorge and died on the spot.
Interestingly, father of the deceased had also died under similar circumstances twelve years ago when he had also fallen from the same point along with the same gun that went off and bullet hit him.
