UDHAMPUR, Dec 11: A young man committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence here last night.
The deceased was identified as 30-year-old Ravi Kumar, son of Pappu Ram of Sambal Udhampur. He consumed some poisonous substance at his residence last night. The family members noticed him in serious condition and rushed him to District Hospital Udhampur.
The doctors washed his stomach but he died after some time. Later, the body was sent for postmortem. The police after completion of all the legal formalities and postmortem, handed over the body to family members for last rites.
