UDHAMPUR, Feb 12: In an apparent case of suicide, a young man was found hanging from ceiling fan hook in his house at village Garni, here today.
According to the police report, Ajay Kumar (35), son of Sansar Chand, resident of Garni Udhampur, was found hanging from ceiling fan hook in his house under mysterious circumstances.
On being informed by the family members, Police party from Police Station Rehambal reached the spot and shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem.
Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while a case has been registered in this connection at Police Station Rehambal for further investigation.
