UDHAMPUR, May 19: A young labourer was found hanging from a tree in a forest area at village Jandror, Ramnagar Tehsil.
The deceased was identified as Madan Lal (30), son of Roop Chand of Devi Keari in Ramnagar Tehsil.
The body was spotted by some locals and on being informed by them, a Police team from Ramnagar Police Station reached the spot.
Later, the dead body was shifted to Ramnagr Hospital for postmortem. Police has registered the case and started further investigations.
Family members of the deceased purportedly alleged that Madan Lal was under stress and not paid his wages since long by the contractor, who had hired him as driver of a tractor, which met with an accident.
