UDHAMPUR, Nov 11: A young man committed suicide by hanging himself in his house at village Kidmu in Ramnagar while in another incident, a man got electrocuted in his house at Krimchi, Mansar, here today.
According to the police reports, Yashpal (34), son of Shankar Dass of village Kidmu in Ramnagar, was found hanging in his house. Family member shifted him to hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead. It appeared that the deceased committed suicide by hanging himself though cause of provocation could not be ascertained.
Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
Meanwhile, one Chain Singh (45), son of Raj Singh of Krimchi Mansar, received severe electric shock at his house. Family members immediately rushed him to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu. However, he did not respond to the treatment and breathed his last this evening.
