SAMBA, May 23: A devastating incident unfolded in Jalapar village of Sumb block, Samba, as a young man allegedly took his own life by hanging himself at his residence.
The deceased has been identified as 21-year-old Vijay Kumar son of Fateh Chand of Jalapar.
According to the available information, upon discovering Vijay’s distressing act, his family immediately rushed him to the district hospital in Samba.
Regrettably, the attending doctor pronounced him dead. Following the completion of the post-mortem examination, Vijay’s remains were entrusted to his relatives for the final rites.
Meanwhile, authorities have initiated a case in this matter and are proceeding with further investigations.
