UDHAMPUR, Dec 7: A young man sustained critical burn injuries after he accidentally fell in the fire while cooking meal for a marriage function, here last night.
The victim was identified as Garu Ram (35) son of Dhuni Chand of Balli Nallah, Udhampur. He was rushed to District Hospital where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of serious burn injuries.
Meanwhile, six female passengers were injured when a minibus rolled down at village Dhenal of Ramnagar tehsil. The injured were identified as Sushma Devi wife of Ramesh Kumar, Pushpa Devi wife of Shanker Singh, Koushlaya Devi wife of Suram Singh, Priyanka daughter of Jagdev Singh, Godawari Devi wife of Naseeb Singh and Lata Devi daughter of Kuldeep Singh, all are resident of Blater Hartyan, tehsil Ramnagar, district Udhampur.
They were brought to District Hospital Udhampur where Sushma Devi, Pushpa Devi and Koushlaya Devi were admitted while other were discharged after first aid.
