KATRA, Dec 20: A Mata Vaishno Devi bound Udhampur youth died here today allegedly due to cardiac arrest.
The deceased, identified as Abhisek Nargotra (21), son of Abhay Nargotra, resident of Ward number 10, Main Bazar, Udhampur, was on way to the cave shrine along with his friends when he suddenly fell unconscious near the Darbar, late last night.
He was immediately shifted to the nearby dispensary where doctors declared him as brought dead and termed cardiac arrest as the apparent cause of the death.
Later, body of the deceased was shifted to the community health centre (CHC) Katra for postmortem after which it was handed over to the family for last rites.
