JAMMU, Apr 20: Young speakers cast spells on the audience in a seminar on ‘Trika Parampara of Kashmir’, organised by Nancy Foundation Trust at The Writers Club, Abhinav Theatre, here today.
Budding kids kept the audience spellbound by extraordinary oratory, debating and philosophical deliberations on Kashmir Shaiv Darshan.
Most of the speakers were teenagers who mesmerized the crowded audience by their articulation of ‘Trika Parampara’ enriching the audience with the Tantric and Aagmic Shastras quoting Mahamahimacharya Shri Abhinav Gupt and Mahamahimacharya Shri Ram Ji Maharaj who were responsible for laying sound foundation of Shaiv Darshan literatures and preaching practices of Shaiv Darshan.
The programme was comprising of three segments having speeches of children who were mostly below 20 years who were segmented to two groups in seniors and juniors and were awarded trophies/cups.
In junior segment Khristina Razdhan, Ramit and Adhyan Pandita were ranked 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively, while in senior category, Muskan Razdan, Ojaswi Raina and Netra Hakoo were judged as top three performers.
SK Raina and Acharya Sharan Dhar were the adjudicating authority.
All the participants were awarded with consolation medals and cash award by the organisers.
Speaking on the occasion Bushan Jalali, the Chairman of the Nancy Foundation Trust read the aims and objectives of the Trust and shared its initiatives taken in the regard of education and cultural renaissance.
The guest speakers included learned scholars and Shaiv Darshan academicians like Sanjay Raina , Dr Surjit Pandy, Dr Sarvesh Tripathy faculties from Central Sanskrit University, Jammu and Dr. Mahesh Kaul a Shaiv Darshan expert. All the speakers enriched the audience with the richness of age old Trika Parampara and urged the people to read, discuss and deliberate on the rich inherited texts and relive the re-sanskritization world.
The chief guest on the occasion was Prof Shreedhar Mishra, Director, Central Sanskrit University, Jammu who in lucid language explained the richness of Trika and Vedic values.
The programme was anchored by Ravi Mahaldar.
Among others who were present included Dr Ashok Bhan, formers DG J&K Police, Yoginder Kaul, former IGP, Daleep Kaul, former DGM, SBI, Shiban Khebri, well known coloumnist, Kuldeep Kashmiri, social activist, Surinder Kaul, former Chief Engineer, Rakesh Koul, former Dy.Director, FSL.
