KATHUA, Mar 28: A young woman died in a road accident here on Tuesday, police said.
Kajal Kumari (20) daughter of Krishan Pal of Uttar Pradesh at present Shastri Nagar, Kathua, died on-the-spot when she was crushed by a truck at Logate Morh, Kathua, after she fell from a bike she was sitting on as a pillion rider, due to slip on the road, they said.
Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the law and shifted the body to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem.
