JAMMU, Aug 9: A young woman was found hanging this evening in Patoli Brahmana area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, the deceased was identified as Chandni (20) wife of Vinod Kumar, resident of Patoli Brahmana. He said the woman was alone at her house and when her in-laws returned back home from outside, the woman was found hanging in her room.
“The deceased was married just two months back and her husband is serving in BSF outside J&K,” the official said, adding the body of the deceased was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem while inquest proceeding in this connection was initiated at police station Domana.
