UDHAMPUR, Aug 31: Mystery shrouded death of a young woman who was found hanging from a tree near her house at village Panjar in Pancheri, here today.
The deceased was identified as Parveena Devi (35), wife of Rajinder Singh, resident of Panjar, Tehsil Moungri, block Panchari. She was found hanging from a tree under mysterious circumstances.
On being informed by some locals, Police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to hospital for postmortem.
Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation. Though the woman seemed to have committed suicide, cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained.
