UDHAMPUR, Nov 7: Mystery shrouded death of a young woman who was found hanging with a tree near her house at village Galiote in Pancheri, here today.
The deceased was identified as Neelam Devi (26) wife of Ful Singh of Galiote. She was found hanging with a tree by some locals who informed the family members as well as Police. On getting information, Police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to hospital for postmortem.
The deceased appeared to have committed suicide for unknown reasons even as Police has registered a case in this connection under Section 174 RPC for further investigation.
Meanwhile, a middle-aged man died after he accidentally fell in a deep gorge near village Dandeal in Udhampur District.
Identity of the deceased was established as Vishaba Nath (55), son of Dass of Dandeal in Udhampur district.
