RAMBAN, May 5: Dharamkund police arrested a youth for posting objectionably comment on the social site.
As per police sources, an information was received regarding posting of an objectionably comment on the social site by a youth.
Acting on the information, a team from Dharamkund Police Station swung into action and arrested the man from Udhampur, where he was residing in a temporary accommodation.
The arrested person has been identified as Rattan Singh, son of Beer Singh, a resident of Summber Ward Number 3, District Ramban.
A case under FIR Number 6 /2020 under Sections 295-A and 153-A has been registered against the youth at Police Station Dharamkund and investigation started.
Meanwhile, SSP Ramban Haseeb-ur-Rehman has confirmed about the arrest of the youth from Udhmpur District, where he was residing in a temporary accommodation.
However, apprehending breach of peace and communal harmony, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ramban has ordered probe into the incident and appointed SDM Gool Gias-ul-Haq as enquiry officer.
SDM will conduct detailed enquiry into the incident and will submit his fact finding with in fortnight positively.
