JAMMU, Nov 28: Police arrested a youth for luring people for drawing online lottery (matka).
As per police sources, a team from Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station during patrolling apprehended a person namely Anku Sharma, son of Govind Ram, a resident of Pakka Talab, Bahu Fort, Jammu as he was luring customers for drawing online lottery (matka).
During search of the accused, three paper slips in which coded numbers were written, two mobile phones and cash Rs 750 were recovered from his possession.
A case under Section 294-A RPC has been registered at Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bagh-e-Bahu Inspector Satish Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Arun Jamwal and SP South Sandeep Choudhary.
