JAMMU, Apr 29: Arnia police arrested a youth along with sharp-edged weapon from main bazaar.
As per police sources, a team from Arnia police station laid a naka at main bazaar and asked a youth to stop for checking.
On seeing police cops, the youth escaped from the spot. Stinking something fishy, the cops chased and intercepted the youth.
During checking, police recovered sharp-edged weapon (khokri) from the possession of the youth and arrested him.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Arnia police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Arnia Inspector Satish Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Harjeet Singh and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
