JAMMU, Feb 9: A 22-year old youth was stabbed at one of his thigh by another youth at Gandhi Nagar.
According to a police spokesperson, the victim identified as Pramjeet Singh son of Rajinder Singh of Nanak Nagar was stabbed by a youth identified as Jinda of RS Pura at parking lot of Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar after exchange of verbal abuse over some unknown issue.
The injured youth was immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where his condition was stated to be stable till the last reports came in.
Meanwhile, the Gandhi Nagar police registered a case under relevant sections against the accused, which had fled from the spot after committing the crime. No arrest was made in the case till the last reports poured in.
