UDHAMPUR, Aug 9: A youth attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances, here today.
He has been identified as Des Raj (38), son of Shanker Dass of Chak, Udhampur. He was brought to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of his critical condition.
Cause behind the provocation could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection for investigation.
