UDHAMPUR, May 15: A youth attempted suicide by hanging himself on the ceiling fan hook in his house at village Barmeen in Ghordi block of Udhampur.
The youth, identified as Pawan Kumar (28) son of Prem Chand, was found hanging by some family members who rushed him to district hospital where doctors referred him to GMC hospital Jammu.
Cause behind the provocation could not be ascertained while condition of the youth was stated to be critical.
