DODA, May 31: Kastigarh Police booked a youth in sacrilegious act case.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a person namely Rajeshwar Singh, son of Ajeeb Singh of Kotli with Police Post Kastigarh stating that a youth identified as Wani Basharat, son of Ghulam Mohd of Bhartund has hurt the religious sentiments of the other community by posting derogatory comments on social media on Lord Shiva. The comment on the social media by Wani Basharat will promote enmity among the two communities, the complainant stated in his complaint.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 109/2022 under Section 295-A IPC has been registered at Police Station Doda and investigation started.
