Youth Brigade organises protest demonstration

SRINAGAR, Dec 24: Youth Brigade of Kashmir today held a protest demonstration here against the Delhi gang-rape incident. The protestors demanded stern action against the rapist and urged the administration to put in place fool-proof security arrangements for women across country in general and Jammu & Kashmir in particular.
Raising slogans against the dastardly act the protestors said that fast tracks should be established across the country so that speedy action is ensured in cases relating to molestation and rape. They said severe punishment should be awarded to the rapists so that it acts as a deterrent for the future.
Meanwhile, Majlis Musha-warat Shopian (MMS) has also condemned the gang-rape incident and demanded stern action against the culprits. The Majlis also expressed solidarity with the people who have been on roads against the incident and said that every human being should condemn such brutal incidents. The Majlis demanded justice in the Asiya and Neelofar rape and murder case.
