JAMMU, May 7: A 25-year old scooty-borne youth received serious burn injuries when a power transformer bursts and its oil fell on him.
According to a police spokesperson, a youth identified as Rakesh Kumar (25) son of Som Nath, a resident of Chand Nagar, Jewel, received severe burn injuries when a power transformer burst and its burning oil fell on him, near Sain Food, Trikuta Nagar, while he was passing through the area on his scooty.
The seriously injured youth was immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where his condition was stated to be stable till the last reports came in.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
