JAMMU, Nov 9: A youth died today allegedly after consuming some poisonous substance at his residence.
According to a police spokesperson, the youth identified as Misan Shah (23) son of Kabir Shah of Gursai in Poonch, presently residing at Bathindi in Jammu today visited his friends’ house at Subhash Nagar, where he started vomiting.
As his condition started deteriorating, he was shifted to ASCOMS Hospital by his friend, where he breathed his last.
Later his body was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for post mortem.
A case in this regard has been registered at police station, Bakshi Nagar and further investigations are on to know the exact cause of his death.
