KATHUA, Nov 26: A youth committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in village Barwal 10 kms from here today.
He has been identified as Vishaw Partap Singh son of Jaipal Singh of Barwal.
Police said the youth was shifted by the family members to District Hospital Kathua but seeing his condition critical doctors referred him to GMC Jammu where he breathed his last.
Kathua police has registered a case under Section 174 in this regard.
