UDHAMPUR, Dec 8: A youth committed suicide by hanging self at his house at Barrian in Udhampur while three teenagers were injured in a road mishap, here today.
According to the police reports, Kamal Jit Singh (30), son of Jasbir Singh of Barrian Udhampur, was found hanging from a ceiling fan hook at his house under mysterious circumstances.
Family member saw him hanging and called the Police; which shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem.
Cause behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
Meanwhile, three persons were injured when a Maruti car collided with a Tipper near Battal Ballian Udhampur.
The car was on its way from Jammu to Bhaderwah when it collided with the Tipper. Locals shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur. The injured were identified as Umar (18), son of Faruq Ahmed of Bhaderwah, Isha (16) daughter of Nasim and 14 years old Fiza.
