KATRA, Mar 8: A youth committed suicide by hanging himself from ceiling fan hook in his residence at Ward number 2, Katra.
The deceased was identified as Anil Sharma, son of Girdhari Lal. He was found hanging with a rope. On being informed, Police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to hospital mortuary for postmortem and other legal formalities.
Cause behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case in this regard at Police Station Katra and initiated proceeding under section 174.
