SAMBA, Sept 9: A youth committed suicide after laying himself on railway track at 89.5 km point in Bari Brahmana area when the goods train was on its way to Jammu today.
He has been identified as Som Nath, 35, S/o Ajeet Rao of Bassi Bari Brahmana.
The cause of such an extreme step taken by him was not known. His dead body was taken by GRP to GMC Jammu for postmortem.
It will be handed over to family members after autopsy tomorrow. The Railway police has taken the cognizance also.
