UDHAMPUR, Nov 18: A teenaged youth ended his life by hanging himself from ceiling fan hook at his house near Ladhan Power House Udhampur.
The deceased was identified as Shubham Kumar (19), son of Bal Krishan of village Ladhan. He was found hanging from ceiling fan hook by the family members, who rushed him to hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection for the further investigation.
Meanwhile, 20-year old Arpan Singh, son of Kartar Singh of Satyalta, Chenani, who had accidentally sustained critical burns at his house on Monday last, today succumbed to his injuries at GMC Hospital Jammu.
Udhampur Police has already registered the case in this connection for further investigation.
