RAJOURI, Oct 28: A youth committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence at Bathuni in district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that 30-year-old Taranjeet Singh, son of Surjit Singh, resident of Bathuni turned serious after he allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his home during this morning. The family members rushed him to GMC Hospital, Rajouri where he passed away during treatment. The body was sent for postmortem.
The police registered a case and started investigation. The cause behind this extreme step could not be known immediately.
