UDHAMPUR, May 29: A youth ended his life by hanging himself from ceiling fan hook in his house at village Romain, Tehsil Ramnagar, here today.
According to the police report, Anil Verma (22), son of Durga Dass of Romain Tehsil Ramnagar, was found hanging from ceiling fan hook in his house.
Family member saw him hanging and immediately called the Police. On being informed, Ramnagar Police rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to Sub District Ramnagar for postmortem.
After completion of all the legal formalities and postmortem, the body was handed over to the family members for the last rites.
Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Ramnagar Police has registered the case for further investigation.
